The Six Kalimah’s

The First Kalimah – The Statement of Purity
Laailaaha illa-Allaahu Muhammad-ur-Rasuul-Ullaah.

There is no God but Allah; Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah.

The Second Kalimah – The Statement of Testification
Ash-hadu Allaa-ilaaha ill-Allaho Wahdahuu. Laasharikalahu Wa ashhadu anna Muhammadan abduhuu wa rasuluh.

I bear witness that there is no god except Allah, Who is Alone and has no partner; And I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger.

The Third Kalimah – The Statement of Glorification
SubhaanAllaahi. Walhamdulillaahi. Walaa-ilaaha ill-Allahu. Wallahu Akbar Walaa howla wala quwwata illaa billaah il Aliyy il-Aziim.

Glory be to Allah. And praise be to Allah. And there is no god except Allah. And Allah is the Greatest. And there is no power and no strength except with Allah, the Most High, Most Great.

The Fourth Kalimah – The Statement of the Oneness of Allah
Laaa ilaaha ill-Allahu. Wahdahuu. Laa shariika Lahuu. Lahul-mulku. Wala-hul-hamdu. Yuhyii wa yumiitu. Wa huwa hayyul-laa yamuutu abadan abadaa. Zul- Jalaali wal –Ikraam. Biyadih –il-khayr. Wa huwa alaa kulli shay- in Qadiir.

There is no god except Allah, Who is Alone and has no partner. For Him is the Dominion and for Him is all praise. He gives life and causes death. And He is Living and will never ever die. Owner of Majesty and Honour: In His Hands is all goodness. And He has power over all things.

The Fifth Kalimah – The Statement of Repentance
Astaghfir-Ullaaha Rabbii min kulli zambin aznabtuhuu amadan aow khata-an sirran aow alaaniyatan wa-atuubu ilayhi minaz -zamb-illazii a’lamu wa minaz-zamb- illazii laa a’ lamu. Inna ka anta Allaa mul-ghuyuubi wa Sattaar-ul-ayuubi wa Ghaffaar-uz-zunuubi. Walaa howla walaa quwwata illaa billaah-il-aliyy-il-Azeem.

I seek forgiveness of my Lord for every sin that I have sinned- intentionally or accidentally, in secret or in open- and I repent to Him for the sins that I am aware of, and for the sins that I am not aware of. Truly You (Oh Allah!) are the Knower of the Unseen, and the Coverer of Faults, and the Forgiver of Sins. And there is no power and no strength except with Allah, the Most High, Most Great.

The Sixth Kalimah – The Statement of rejection of disbelief
Allaahumma Innii a uuzu bika min an ushrika bika shai-anw- wa anaa a’lamu bihii wa astaghfiruka lima laa a’lamu bihi, tubtu anhu wa tabarra tu minal-kufri wash-shirki wal-kizbi wal-ghiibati wal-bid’ati wan-namiimati wal fawaahishi wal-buhtaani wal-ma’aasii kullihaa Wa aslamtu wa aquulu Laa ilaaha ill-Allahu Muhammad-ur-Rasool-Ullaah.

Oh Allah! Truly I seek refuge in You from holding any partners with You knowingly. And I see forgiveness of You for that which I am not aware of. I repent of such deeds and I clear myself from any actions of disbelief and idolatry and lying and backbiting and innovation and slander and lewdness and abomination and every type of sin. And I submit to You and I say:
There is no god except Allah; Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah.
